Application Overview

Open channels are widely used for stormwater conveyance, flood control, irrigation, and surface drainage. These channels are subjected to high flow velocities, fluctuating water levels, sediment transport, and aggressive environmental exposure, which can lead to erosion and structural degradation if not properly protected. POME provides engineered, turnkey channel lining systems combining HDPE geomembranes for controlled seepage and subgrade protection with concrete-infilled geocells for robust hydraulic and erosion resistance. Our systems are designed to perform under continuous flow, peak storm events, and long-term operational conditions, ensuring channel stability throughout the design life.
